Technologies at Our Dental Clinic
At Clinique Dentaire ADF, we leverage technology to help inform treatment planning for our patients, and to make your dental appointments run more smoothly.
We have the ability to display digital X-Rays and scans on monitors in our treatment rooms, which means you'll be able to see any issues in your mouth while we walk you through your treatment plan.
We are on a mission to provide patients with efficient dental care and ensure they are fully informed regarding their oral health. Dental technology helps us do that.
Digital X-Rays
With digital X-Rays, digital sensors replace photographic X-Ray film to produce highly detailed computer images of your teeth and gums, in addition to other oral structures and conditions. This allows your dentist to examine parts of your mouth that would otherwise be invisible to the naked eye.
Panoramic X-Rays
Your dentist can create a single image of your entire mouth with panoramic X-Rays. The finished image is a flat representation of the teeth, nasal and sinus structures, upper and lower jaws and temporomandibular joints. These X-Rays are often used to help plan treatments for extractions, implants, braces and dentures.
Intraoral Scanner
Using the iTero® intraoral scanner, we create digital dental impressions, an ideal alternative to traditional dental impressions that can be messy and time-consuming. With this scanner, your dentist simply uses an optical scanning wand to capture a digital image of your teeth in minutes. The device allows your dentist to collect highly accurate data to create digital replicas of your mouth's hard and soft tissues, so Invisalign clear aligners, crowns, implants and restorations can be made.
